Q. What do I need to bring?
A. Just yourself and closed toed shoes. Long sleeves/pants are required in the room. We do have loaner pants and jackets if you need them.
Q. What am I breaking?
A. This depends on what we currently have and which package you pick. Expect a variety of items including monitors, televisions, laptops, desktops, alarm clocks, printers, fax machines, furniture, and lots of porcelain or ceramic plates/glasses/mugs/bowls and more! Check out our social media pages (links at the bottom of this pages) for pictures of prior sessions.
Q. How much time do I have?
A. Each session is 30 or 15 minutes. It will also take 10 minutes or so to get set up with safety gear, sign waivers, and set up your music so please arrive 15 minutes early. We are unable to extend your time if you aren't set up on time.
Q. I want pictures and videos!!
A. You are always welcome to take pictures and videos of your own. We are currently working on some options to purchase some video from your session. We will update this section as soon as it is ready.
Q. How many people can be smashing things at once?
A. For safety purposes we do have limits on how many people can be in a room at one time. Please look at the description of the packages. Some packages are for 2 people and some are for up to 6 people.
Q. Is there an age restriction?
A. At the moment, participation is limited to 12 and up.
Q. Can I play music while I become the terminator in a Wrecking Room?
A. Sure can. We have speakers in every room with auxiliary cables and adapters to most phones. ENJOY! (A staff member will be available to help)
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A1. A cancellation with more than 48 hours notice will receive a 100% refund.
A2. Any cancellation with less than 48 hours notice will not receive a refund. (No Exceptions) Due to the unique nature of The Wrecking Club, a lot of effort goes in to the day to day operations. Rescheduling/canceling on short notice would be very costly.
Got Stuff to smash?!?!
Having us pick up your items is completely free as long as it is a sufficient quantity. If it is a smaller quantity you can arrange for a drop off at our location free of charge. (DROP OFFS AND PICK UPS MUST BE ARRANGED IN ADVANCE)
Q. What if I don't have a lot of stuff?
A. In this instance, you can arrange for a drop off for free or we have a junk removal company that provides our customers with exclusive discount codes. Email us at for information.
Q. What items do you take?
A. Any wooden furniture, dishes, glasses, cups, bowls, electronics, instruments, and anything else that may be cool to smash. Please note : Some items may not be accepted if they have hazardous internal components. The most common example we see is old CRT televisions.
Q. How does a pick up work?
A. Email us at INFO@WreckingClub.com. Be sure to included what you'd like us to pick up and pictures of the pick up. As long as it qualifies for a free pick up we will set up a day and time with you.
Q. What happens to the stuff after its picked up?
A. First and foremost, a lot of it will get smashed. Some items may go through attempted donation. If that isunsuccessful then those get smashed as well. Once the items are smashed everything that can be recycled is recycled. A large portion of what comes here is recycled.
